Turkey is a beautiful Dexter / White Dexter heifer born on Thanksgiving 2023, so of course our daughter named her Turkey. Her dam is a beautiful Dexter cow of ours named Fergie, and she’s the most friendly, approachable, huggable, lovable cow we have who also has a beautiful frame and a good udder. Her sire is a grade white Dexter bull whose calves never disappoint. Turkey is not yet handled as we like to let them play and grow on pasture with mom until weaning but she’s very curious by nature and will approach to sneak a sniff if she thinks you aren’t looking at her. We think she will be a good candidate for halter-breaking and becoming a beloved family cow after she’s weaned. Turkey should mature to midsize miniature height and have an overall good temperament, plus she comes with that gorgeous color of white with black tips.
